Can lurk no more. These barbarians and the 'supportive' media with their 'remove Bush at all costs and hell be damned for the country' reporting has pushed my outrage to a new level.
May god have mercy on their soles because I won't

I just watched the beheading video clip. I cannot express my anger and hatred. I need to deal with this on an intellectual level. There are probably others that need to do the same. So, it is time for one of my little history lessons.
Muhammad was born in Mecca in 570? AD. His father died before he was born and later he was orphaned at the age of six. Like his fellow tribesmen, he became a trader and made several journeys to Syria. He managed the business of a rich widow, Khadija and she offered him marriage, which he accepted at the age of 25.
Muhammad experienced a vision of the archangel Gabriel while fasting and praying in a cave outside of Mecca. Gabriel proclaimed him a prophet of God. His wife and his cousin Ali became his first followers, and eventually he began to preach in public, reciting the verses of his revelation, which came to be known as the Qur'an.
Muhammad's earliest teachings emphasized his belief in one transcendent but personal God, the Last Judgment, and social and economic justice. Muhammad proclaimed his own message, the Qur'an, to be the last revealed Book and himself to be the last of the prophets, consummating and superseding the earlier ones.
Insisting on the necessity of social and economic reform, Muhammad advocated the replacing of tribal loyalties with the fellowship of Islamic faith. This reformist tendency quickly aroused the enmity of the merchants in Mecca. In short, Muhammad was opposed to the capitalistic dealings of merchants and the merchants were not going to have their livelihoods changed by Muhammad and his followers. Muhammad and his followers were pursued by the people of Mecca.
Concurrently Muhammad was approached by a delegation from Yathrib (later Medina), a city about 185 miles to the north of Mecca that was divided by tribal feuds. They asked him to arbitrate the feuds, offering him considerable authority. After careful negotiations, Muhammad accepted and asked his followers to emigrate from Mecca to Medina.
Muhammad escaped Mecca just as his enemies were preparing to capture him, and he arrived in Medina eight days later. His flight became known as the Hegira and marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.
Muhammad was soon given supreme authority in Medina, and he began to establish the ritual practices of Islam and to carry out social reforms. The Meccans meanwhile demanded the extradition of Muhammad and his Meccan followers. The Meccans were supported in Medina by a group, referred to in the Qur'an as the Hypocrites, who had submitted to Islam but were secretly working against it. This group in turn was aided by the three Jewish tribes that were residing in Medina.
Muhammad's strategy in the developing conflict with Mecca was to attack Meccan trade caravans returning from Syria and thus economically weaken the city. In 624, the first major battle occurred, in which the Muslims soundly defeated the Meccans. In the next major battle, the following year, the Meccans had the advantage but were unable to achieve a decisive victory. A Meccan army of 10,000 besieged Medina in 627 but failed to take the city. Muhammad meanwhile eliminated his enemies within Medina. After each of the first two battles he expelled a Jewish tribe, and after the third major battle he had the males of the remaining tribe massacred for collaborating with his opponents.
This is the beginning of Islam. Id like to summarize this little history lesson to remove any political correctness: Muhammad, a bastard child and later an orphan, became a trader. Unable to make it on his own, he used a rich widow to make his success. He fasted and had delusions in a cave where he made himself the final Prophet. He was against business dealings of the merchants in Mecca and based on the insurrection that he raised against them, he became a fugitive from justice. He escaped to Medina where he planned terrorist attacks against the Meccan caravans returning from Syria. Imagine today, if innocent truckers traveling down an interstate highway were attacked by Muslim extremists, we would call that terrorism. The Meccans, rightly responded with force to eliminate the terrorist problem on the caravan routes. Three wars ensued, and after each war, Muhammad made reprisals on Jews. After the third war, Muhammad had all of the males of the remaining Jewish tribe in Medina killed. Today, this would be called ethnic cleansing a war atrocity.
I have to say that my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was peaceful. The most violent thing that Christ ever did was clear the Temple. That did not include injuring anyone. My religion is a religion of peace. Islam is a religion founded by a delusional terrorist who committed war atrocities. Islam was hence forth spread by the sword and the innocent were converted by the Evil. To this day, Islam has to use terror and force to spread itself. Have no doubts about it, Islam is a religion on evil and ANYONE that devoutly follows Islam is being injected with the preachings of the terrorist Muhammad.
I hope this gives some insight into why America is fighting terrorism. It has nothing to do with what America has done in the past. It has to do with evil. The entire history of Islam is full of examples of nations and peoples conquered by this evil. If we do nothing, we will be part of that same history.
