Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that the sparrow does not fall to the ground without Your notice ... how much more so when one created in Your image is struck down. Reach into the very hearts of those who grieve the loss of Nick Berg ... touch them with Your comfort and assurance that You will walk with them through this dark and trying time. Thank You that man cannot destroy the soul of another ... may this knowledge overrule the manner of his death. We uplift his family before the Throne of Grace, with gratitude for Nick's care and concern for the well being of the Iraqi people. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...
