Steve Harrigan just reporting that a mosque was attacked in Karbala. Pretty much destroyed I think. The mosque had been used to launch attacks against the coalition.

Yup. We have the leeway in Iraq to go into and attack the Mosques if we can positively determine we are being attacked from them.

Heard a report this weekend that al-Sadr's army is taking off their black garb because Iraqi vigilante squads are picking them off in sniper attacks.

al-Sistani has also told al-Sadr that he needs to stnad down or he will lose the support and protection of the other clerics in Iraq and they will then permit the Coalition forces to take him out.
