outraged by the outrage - hello!
Did you see the lady behind the Rebublican currently speaking? Her expressions are so telling - she clearly doesn't like what Inhofe is saying. lol

They're testifying under oafs. Ha!
Once upon a time my husband said he would vote for the best person running, regardless of party affiliation. After the fiascos of the past three years, and now after the attempted skewering of Rumsfeld, he has flatly stated that he cannot imagine a scenario where he would ever vote for a democrat. I believe I've been a bad influence on him... :-)

(John Kerry's been AWOL for two decades on issues of National Security!)
Can someone answer this for me.Are they saying the want the military police and the interrogators separate?Isn't that about on the same order as the FBI and CIA separate, where the intelligence was not shared?Just wanting clarification>

Inhofe not bowing down to the Washington Conventions, listing names and kicking ass.

Many years ago, my sisters used to babysit his kids and his brother's (Sandra?) when they were up and comers in Michigan politics. One sister is pretty naive on politics so she wasn't "infected" by the process too much. The other, well, is pretty rabid about the Democratic lines...
Their kids were great; can't say so much for their dads...

Inhofe up and he's about to kick some ass, from the sound of it.
He's more outraged by the outrage over the treatment than he is by the treatment.
Yeah, 7 bad guys and gals who did things they should not have. Bad and even perverted (what we've said) and they should be punished and ARE being punished.
Inhofe cites a solicitation from the dems (I missed if it's from someone in particular) that cites this situation, demands Rumsfeld be fired, cites anti-Bush rhetoric and asks for money to defeat them. He asks that the solicitation letter be made part of the record.
Inhofe counters dem reveling in Iraq prisoner abuse with descriptions of atrocities that took place under Saddam.
