BAGHDAD, Iraq - Three more American soldiers have died in Iraq, two from hostile fire and one in a traffic accident, the U.S. command said Monday.
One soldier from Task Force Olympia, based in northern Iraq, died Monday of wounds suffered in an attack on his patrol, the command said. It did not say when the attack occurred.
A 1st Infantry Division was killed Saturday when a roadside bomb exploded in Samarra. Another soldier was wounded in the blast. A soldier from the 16th Military Police Brigade died Sunday night when his Humvee collided with an American tank, the statement added.
More than 750 U.S. service members have died since President Bush launched the Iraq war in March 2003.

I've noticed that the casualties have shifted largely toward Ramadi and Samarra since the 'deal' was reached that settled Fallujah down..

Rest in Peace.
I just wish the press could do some decent reporting!
"A 1st Infantry Division was killed Saturday when ..."
A whole division was killed??
"More than 750 U.S. service members have died since President Bush launched the Iraq war in March 2003."
The United States went to war - and why the body counts??
I hate the press.

I just wish the press could do some decent reporting!...A whole division was killed?? They're apparently in too much of a hurry to get the "good news" out that they bypass the editors. That, or maybe a Freudian slip.

since President Bush launched the Iraq war in March 2003. Why do I get the feeling this line would read, "since the war began...." if any other individual were President?
