Time to bring back the Monroe doctrine, people. Terrorism is just one of several threats to western civilization.

Terrorism is a major threat in and of itself...but I believe it is capable of being compounded significantly by nations like China who will use it to bleed us while they make plans to prepare multiple major theaters of war against us.

I personally believe they already are involved in those plans.
