Timothy McVea was a "good person," "good military person" as well. Look where "he" ended up.Is the whole community a front? I don't think so. Are there sympathizers in it? Probably a few. They don't seem to organized in any way, if so.Maybe the Islamic Jihad and the Muslim Brotherhood is working "out of" that Muslim community you have there. Could your Muslim community be just a front?
As you can tell, I am very suspicious, and my suspicions started long before this article emerged.
Just as I don't want people to think that McVeigh reflects all Gulf War I vets or the POW abusers represent all our soldiers in Iraq, I'd rather not group all the Muslims with the Islamist fundamentalists. Indeed, many of them came here to get away from those types at home.
Basically, I'd just as soon not declare friends to be enemies. Remember that it was tips from the local Muslim community that brought down the Lackawanna Al Qaeda cell.

While I am in basic agreement with you, the Muslim community would be wise to adopt America and denounce the whackjobs.
Until their religious and political leaders do that consistently and publically, America will look upon them with suspicion and opprobium.
And whats more they deserve it.
