Plan A is that Mr Brahimi comes to baghdad, rings up his favorite baathist pals from the old days when he was Arab League head and they said not a word against Saddam, and asks them who he should appoint.

This is 'favored' because, well, we all know that the UN turns everything it touches to Gold and makes is Acceptable to the World Community. (at least that portion riding with diplomatic plates in New York City).

Sounds like *any* Plan B would be better!!!
