That's pretty tough. Would it make your day if I slammed the desk and shouted, "Yes! Yes!"?

Actually, most people on the anti-HRC side simply want gays to live quietly, not bother anybody, and leave teenagers and kids alone. And that's about it. There are some other things here and there that the gay community could do to earn additional measures of trust and confidence.........such as:

a) Not demonizing people who ventilate unwelcome opinions (Anita Bryant and Laura Schlessinger come to mind),

b) Not politicking against the national-health bureaucracy when they want to do something epidemiological about AIDS and other gay-centric STD's, such as quarantining bad actors,

c) Quit raging against the community at large and insisting that they liquidate their moral values and religious and social strictures against homosexuality -- such as, not permitting gays to come into contact with teenagers, especially in authority positions (teacher, policeman, social worker, school counselor), because of the strong tendency of some gay men, enough of them to be statistically very significant, to act out on adolescent men and boys. And that includes the mischievous and highly political campaign for SSM, which as posters like scripter and EdReform have shown by links and documented quotations from the likes of Michelangelo Signorile, is really a campaign to abolish the heterosexual institution of marriage, because it's heterosexual and an institution. Which transmutes the SSM campaign into something very like a hate-political campaign of gays' very own devising, against the overwhelming majority of the human race. Gays should stop and think for a minute about the implications of attempting to do that, which would give people who are really anti-homosexual a concrete, rational foundation for their hostility.

So you think that the editors of WND are so hateful and evil that they wish people ensnared in the homosexual life should all die?

No, not really. They put down an unfortunate combination of words, and I made an immature joke about it.

I don't think what I said was completely unfair: they chose to label the people as antibiotic-resistant rather than the diseases they carried, because they do want to go out of their way to insult gay people as much as possible. It wasn't enough for the people at WND to merely say that gays were more likely to be carriers of said bacteria, they had to say that gays themselves were drug-resistant (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense).

I do not think mass murder is on WNDs agenda, and I don't think most people who are anti-gay want to see a massacre.

What exactly do you mean by "anti-gay"?

I wondered too what they meant when they said that homosexuals were resistent to the drugs...if that meant that those drugs don't work even for other illnesses, or what. Another point is that homosexuals are so prone to getting myriad STDs including parasites and so on, that they likely take a lot more drugs (not counting the recreational ones) that their immune systems are taking a beating. Also, the ingestion of semen (especially from many different men) disturbs the immune system, since the immune system "thinks" that the semen is a foreign protein akin to a bacterial (or viral) invader. So the immune systems of most homosexuals are not in a normal condition anyway.

OK ... what's left unsaid here is the why of their resistance. The reason they're resistant is because they're on those antibiotics a lot, because they need to be, because they're engaged in disease-gathering activities.

They can't deny the 12x (!!!) bias in "favor" of homosexuals, but they never seem to be able to admit that being "gay" very often means getting sick.
