This could well be a dummied up photo op--chicken or goat blood poured over the child's head. Remember this is the same religion and culture that sends kids out with explosive belts to kill innocent civilians.

Yes. That picture disturbs me. On the one hand, it is horrifying to see the blood on the baby, but on the other hand, look at the baby's expression. It doesn't look like fear or pain, quite the contrary. It almost looks like the baby is licking the "blood" off of its hand.
Something's not right here.
