Problem is that Bushnell, Felos, Michael, etc. get to decide who to provide and for a fee. There is no mention of this in the article, and I woudl certialy think it would be since it would fit perfectly in the tone.

A couple of years ago, Michael Schiavo contacted Terri's parents and offered to give the balance of Terri's money over to charity. He and his attorneys used this a talking point for the media - claiming that Michael had no financial interest in Terri's death. What they neglected to mention was that that particular offer was predicated upon the Schindler's agreeing to Terri's dehydration and starvation death.
Notice the last sentence. It seems to say to a less than careful reader that, "Aha! This is the fine print that was HIDDEN!", when actually it is the main agreement.
Did everyone to that point think that Mr. Shiavo would donate the money being used to care for, and was designated to be used to care for, Mrs. Shiavo to charity and then continue her life, now at his expense? Is this what is necessary to convince some people that one is telling the truth; that they be hurt financially?
Ironically, if Mr. Shiavo does that AND IF the law pushed through by Mr. Bush named, or indicated so narrowly that it could reasonably be said to have named, this couple specifically, then that law is unconstitutional as a Bill of Attainder. This is the way I read the information on a Bill of Attainder and Bill of Pains and Penalties.
What that paragraph is saying in a seemingly carefully roundabout way, is that Michael Shiavo has said, "Ok, let her die and I'll prove my disinterest in the money by giving it all to charity."
Now, such an agreement would be very easy to enforce on Mr. Shiavo; it could be put in a written contract.
If this were actually the event that occured, why are there people here still saying that Mr. Shiavo is doing it for the money? Consider this, if the law enacted is found unconstitutional, the Schindlers lose and Terri is killed, Mr. Shiavo keeps the money, and Terri is still dead.
I'm not quite sure what you are trying to say here. As everyone is an individual and every individual may or may not have a good amount of facts (it depends on the research done, etc. and verifying of facts, at various points in time, etc.) then of course you will get certain statements that he is only in it for the money, etc. I am not completely of that opinion. I believe there are other motives involved besides just money (money that can come from different sources besides what may be generally believed of insurance or trust fund, etc.).
I am aware of the court procedings in which Felos/Michael, etc. offered to give money to charity if they could just starve/dehydrate Terri to death. I was aware of this before the quoted reference below. I wasn't referring to an article but the document I typed up from the pdf of the fax sent by Bushnell regarding the paying of an off duty police officer of Bushnell's/Felos choosing ->

The off duty police officer could easily accompany Terri's parents. Bushnell/Felos would have no problem consulting Laybek about this so her letter is full of spite and lies. This is all out of spite because of problems that have been caused (by people who don't want to see Terri murdered) for Bushnell, Felos and Hospice of Florida Suncoast (Laybek) that they are playing this stupid game with the Schindlers. Michael is stated as saying that the Schindlers just want to make his life hell on more than one occassion. I guess he doesn't understand the bonds of parenthood, etc. The man is a pathological liar. It's my considered opinion that he should be behind prison bars. From all the research I have done this man has something to hide and it occurred sometime between evening/morning hours of 02.24.90 02.25.90. No amount of time should make him exempt from criminal prosecution from what ensued that fateful evening/morning and his further actions in his attempts to hide what happened and in his continued attempts to finish the job, and those aiding and abetting him should not be exempt either. If the State becomes complicit (in attempted murder of innocent disabled) through judges then it is my considered opionion that the Governor of said State becomes complicit (if he doesn't use his execctive power - including the use of force, to stop such murder attempts) because he is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the State. He has the power to remove corrupt judges and he has the power to save unfortunates from the hands of corrupt persons (who should be labeled "criminals") who are attempting or allowing others to attempt murder on such unfortunates. We have a special case in Terri considering all the facts that this isn't a right-to-die issue. This is about crimes pure, blatant and simple - crimes that need to be stopped including by use of force if necessary.
This has been on-going. This isn't just about what happened in 1990 but what is continuing to occur right now. The continued neglect of Terri and the continued attempts at killing her must and should be stopped immediately. Time will tell if those who have the power to stop it will rise to the occasion and put their foot down and not let these individuals get away with murdering an innocent, defenseless, disabled person who never expressed that she wished to be treated the way she is continued to be treated. If you care and want to stop it then do everything in your power to get the attention of those who you think might be able to do something to make it stop.
