KERRY DOESN'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT BEING TOLD ANYTHING. HE'S NOT GOING TO BE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. HE MIGHT WANT TO TRY FRANCE.

This guy is a laugh, He delivered most of his comments about how he would handle the prisoner abuse in front of a bunch of high school students in Colton, Ca. All the kids just sat there and stared, they had no clue what he was talking about. It was thought that he was there in relation to education. I have seen schools in Iraq that were in better shape then this one, I just don't get this guy.

We'll then, Senator, so you won't be the last to know...
Your lifelong persuit of the presidency is about to end, in abject failure, with you as a laughing stock of the nation, and the world.
There now, you've been told. buh bye.

Even if he was the first to know, he'd still be the last to form a definite opinion about it.

What kind of nonsense is this? From a purely practical standpoint, the highest authority is always the "last to know". That's the effect of a chain of command. Would Kerry give every private in the field the hotline number to report abuses to the Oval Office? This guy is an idiot.

He wouldn't be the last to know. In other words, he'd let it keep happening so that OTHERS would find out it was going on later.
My, he's dim.

Of course Monsieur Kerry would have his manservant Nickerson bring him the news on a silver platter and read it to him while he was having his back hairs waxed before his polo match.

He is the last to know if he owns an SUV or not... and HE is going to do better than W??

Kerry says he wouldn't be 'last to know' Of course not. Based on his own admissions, he would be out front, showing them how it is done.
After all, he has real experience in war atrocities. He was in Vietnam, you know.

The atrocities Kerry committed in Vietnam were much worse than anything we've seen in Iraq. Kerry is in no position to criticize anyone after he personally chased down and executed a wounded VC.
