There are at least 6 posts here that say ABC and WAPO polls are saying that 2/3rds of public is dismayed about the pictures; however, 60%-70% want Rummy to stay on as Secretary of Defense.

Those are not right leaning polls either.

You can bet internal polls are showing them that this is going nowhere and watch the backpedaling as less enthusiasm for these hearings grows.

Let's hope. But their outrageous, headlong approach is stunning. I hope they do pullback. I ahev yet to see how they conducted themselves in the Senate hearing--I missed much of that. Who was the most outrageous?

I am immensely concerned that that SOB Kerry seems to think it is a great issue for him. I sure hope he is miscalculating the Hell out of this--he's done that before.
