Faith...I have a mission for you, if you can stomach it. You and anyone else reading this. PLEASE watch the nightly news on the networks and write down the names of the people who advertise on their "news" shows.
I'm only now sorta kinda catching up on the thread, so I apologize if this has been mentioned.
Money...Money...Money. That's what matters.
We can all call/fax/write these bozo networks and it'll only inflame them more. Now...if we as Freepers decide to hit the sponsors of said shows...I do believe we could make an impact.
