Exactly - - I'm saying the abuse was wrong, the excusing it is wrong, the laughing at it is wrong. I say "nay" to anyone who tries to justify this crap. If there's any forces of "darkness" in this situation, it's the people who perpetrated S&M abuse and any Americans who think it's not wrong.

The good news, if there is any, is that everything I have heard, read and watched regarding Iraqi reaction has been ok. They, are not blowing up as some feared, and even some of the detainees are saying that they were not hurt, just embarrassed. (even the leash guy apparently)

guy on FOX just got back last night. he sais nobody asked, made any remarks or talked about it.

It is we who are freeking out.
