Doesn't matter whether you believe me or not! This issue is a fight for power between DoD and State! Frankly, I am rooting for DoD; may Rummy expose the leftist-radical State Department for what it is - UN AMERICAN! Discrediting Rummy to regain their power and funding is what this is all about so look a little deeper than the mainstream media.

Makes sense that Bremmer would be on the rat side.
He fits, as a diplomat and has higher aspirations. Diplomats are always rat infested with their high and mighty view of people and sociology.
They remind me of those wierd profs I had in college. Always whining about humans and humans rights. Always having a utopian view that if everyone would just love each other that the world would be just fine and dandy!

I haven't had time to read the whole thread so forgive me if this has been mentioned, but can someone tell me what gives Congress the authority to micromanage the Army like this?
