Should American Prisoners of War being subjugated to the same abuse that the Iraqi prisoners were?

Let's say they were, does that give American soldiers a green light to retaliate and abuse the Iraqi POW's?

If we are mistreating Iraqi POW's, what's to stop the Iraqis from playing tit-for-tat. I'm thinking of Matt Mauphin, now a hostage.

Even if the Iraqis play tit-for-tat, does it still make what those soldiers did right?

Furthermore, you have confused fighting the war with decent treatment of POWS. The fact that you can't see that you have confused the two is a little disturbing.

PLEASE reread my comment. I prefaced it with saying the actions against the POWs were WRONG!! and those guilty should pay......and what makes you think the Iraqis aren't abusing Americans???? Let's see, some are killed, and drug through the streets......no abuse?????
