Are they Carpetbaggers? Do you want to limit seats in congress strictly to people born in that state? Or maybe people born in that congressional district.
Maybe you didn't get the notice, but Americans tend to move around a lot. Your way would have about 50% of Californians, Floridians or Texans inelligble to hold office.
Exactly. If that would keep NYC'rs like Gray Davis and Barbara Boxer (as well as Texans from Sweetwater like Jack Scott) from ruining CA, I'm for it. Okies are welcome, however. I like Oklahoman's. They make good Californians.
