So really, CAIR has increased it's reporting of hate crimes by 70%, not that the crimes themselves have actually gone up.

Yeah, that too.
Problem is, the media reports this stuff as if CAIR is some sort of "moderate" Islamic group -- when the truth is they are unabashed advocates of the Islamists. It's amazing to watch the media outlets carry their water, even with a patently absurd report such as this.
