Moving Violations
Teens call it 'freaking,' adults call it simulated sex, schools grapple with limits.

Lisa Gonzales and Manny Soliz hit the dance floor at Visalia's Redwood High. Schools across the nation are writing rules for acceptable dancing.
The high school gym is dark, the bass is booming and kids shake their hips to the beat. But unlike their peers in the past, teens today are likely grinding their hips against their partners.
Chaperones' eyes pop and jaws drop when the teens take it further. Girls bend over at the waist and guys take turns bumping from behind. Girlfriends straddle each other's legs as they slide up and down. Guys come in from both sides to make a wriggling girl sandwich.
Kids call it "freaking" or "freak dancing." To adults, it's sex with your clothes on.

"Like dirty dancing, is all about copulatory skills. At least, that's what a Japanese news article says. Then again, the article says the craze was brought on by Britney Spears. I've seen her "Slave For You" video, and that ain't belly dancing, aside from one or two altered movements. That's fornication on wheels.

YES! I know I mispelled P-R-U-R-I-E-N-T in the title.
Definitions of prurient on the Web:
characterized by lust; "eluding the lubricious embraces of her employer"; "her sensuous grace roused his lustful nature"; "prurient literature"; "prurient thoughts"; "a salacious rooster of a little man"
.

Teens threatened boycotts and private proms without supervision.Good! The school should wash their hand of them and have the parents deal with these brats.

I remember slow dancing to the "Midnight Hour" and grinding it pretty good. That was about as close to sex as I got.
To: sinkspur
When we would slow dance too close we would hear, "Leave some room for the Holy Spirit".
