To an earlier post, yes, Portland does have a light-rail system, the "Max." Mostly just an West/East line from our western burbs through the city center and then out east, and then a N-S line up to the airport. A new line has been added up in North Portland, which is in bad need of redevelopment.

Yes the beltway sniper spent some time in the Portland area and was a member of the Oregon National Guard for a brief time after leaving active duty. There sure are a lot of ties with Oregon muslims and worldwide terror. It's embarrassing.
