You still here, Joe?Well yeah, I am waiting to see what happens to people that clearly routinely attack others in a personal manner.

I reject the premise that the President has 'apologized.'

It didn't need to be insulting; your own words proved you don't know what you're talking about.
If you think that's insulting, talk to yourself.

It is a deliberate tactic to save face at home while capitulating to anti-American sentiment overseas. You've drawn a whale of a conclusion considering that you have absolutely NO idea as to why it was done (unless, of course, you're a Presidential advisor or confidante). You're guessing based on your own ideology rather than taking it at face value.
And perhaps my analogy is not absolute (not that any is), but there is a parallel and you know it.
The CinC is directly over the military. He's their 'boss.' The army's justice system notwithstanding, he is at its head.

Facts? I just heard George Bush in his own words say he was SORRY to King Abdullah. Twice in fact.Give me the exact quote(s), then explain to me how you defend being so deceitful.
To: swarthyguy
The President just apologized.
As did Condi, Armitage, Kimmitt and Miller.
At least they're more cognizant of
the damage this has done to the USA than you.
When your looking for these guy's a little
hazing is OK in my book.
For years your media outlets and Governments of the
world said nothing about hundreds of thousands of tortured
and murdered people by this trio above.
As a matter of fact the UN and Socialist countries
did business with these guys.
How can you win the hearts and mind from the Arab Street
when the Arab Street is heartless and mindless.
You may never understand.
This is WWIII.
President Bush has been very merciful.

Since when has showing weakness ever worked with the Arabs-- NEVER!!

I was referring to the posts that Faithincowboys posted as examples. I wasn't talking to you.Oh, so it's OK as long as the personal attacks are just on certain people eh? LOL!

Well, some FReepers just can't handle any kind of criticism of President Bush, even if it's constructive criticism. Lies and mischaracterizations are NOT criticisms.

You know what? I don't care if you are anti-Bush. What I care about is the representation that you support him , when you do not.
I repeat: show me a thread you have startd that is supportive, or at least a couple of replies that are positive, and I will shut up and apologize.

I rest my case. Gloom'n'doomer fer sure. Nervous Nelly, too.
To: Outlaw76
I should have said that he is accepting that its his fault.No. He is not "accepting that its (sic) his fault".
That is absurd.
To: Wolfstar
Four easy choices: Stand with him, or follow him, or come up with legitimate alternatives, or get the "eff" out of the way. Me, I stand with him. Proudly. I do as well. I just note that this will NOT lessen the attacks. As other posters have noted the President was correct to apologize that the acts HAPPENED and keep it at that.
