What I think you don't understand is that the court "has" ordered Terri's death. Would you want the court to make the decision for you if you had no living will? This is what has happened to Terri. I certainly don't want them making the decisions for me, especially when the judges in this case can't even read the statutes which should protect everyone and have allowed them to be broken from day one.

I pity the people of FL who admire this tyrant in black robes, regardless of his "Republican" label.

Just sent the following to Charlie Crist, Attorney General
of Florida:
Today, May 6, I sent the following to John Ashcroft's office.
If you refuse to investigate Michael Schiavo or some of
the Judges in Florida, maybe someone else will.
"Please help - time is running out - the Judge overturned Jeb Bush's Terri's Law and she will probably die
within the next few weeks. For the story - her website is www.terri'sfight.com - it is a history of how this poor
woman has been tortured. DO NOT pay attention to the media stating she is in a coma or in a permanent
vegetative state. This is a lie and goes to show how deep the corruption is in Florida.
This woman would improve with therapy, the very therapy the $1,000,000.00 settlement was to provide
but the husband will not allow. She hasn't even had dental cleaning for years so that five teeth had to
be extracted. NO ONE is allowed to visit her - mother, father, siblings and friends. Not even her priest.
She, being a devout Catholic, is not even allowed the Sacraments like Holy Communion.
There is an armed guard in her room and no one goes in and she does not go out. Imagine being confined
to a room never seeing the outdoors and feel the sun. Prisoners receive far better care than this!
Michael Schiavo will inherit all the money when she dies. He has been living with another woman for
years and has had two children by her. He has no right to be her guardian. A professor Wolfson (I think)
was temporarily appointed guardian and when he wanted give her therapy, he was fired.
PLEASE HELP! We, her friends across the country and around the world, beg of you to please step in
and allow ALL the truth to come out.
Sincerely,"

Unsurprising. The judge said he would rule this way back in October! Shame on the people of FL for electing such ruthless "Republican" judges. I heard the official announcement just as I was leaving the "National Day of Prayer" observance.

Unconstitutional? Our founding fathers are doing 360's in their graves.
As always, prayers for Terri.

"Now can she rest in peace and join her heavenly Father rather living in this earthly hell?"
Yes, Terri and millions upon millions of others like her. We will be among those millions, you and I, and anyone who is not deemed worthy of this "living hell" we call life. You and I will be escorted to our heavenly reward by the angels of hunger and thirst, drifting in and out of a morphine fog, begging for surcease of the torment.
Our fate is tied to Terri's fate, for she is the test case for sanitized starvation of undesirables. No matter how young, how beautiful, or how strong, you and I shall someday be added the list of undesirables.
Choose Terri's fate carefully, for someday it shall be your own...

What is so upsetting is that Jeb even played into this whole charade when he could have just stepped in and put an end to the madness of the courts. He has/had the power vested in him all along. The 6 or so days of Terri's dehydration/starvation debacle should never have happened last year, yet there I stood outside the hospice where it was happening at that time wondering why he didn't put a stop to it. It is so upsetting. Why can't people stick up for the truth of the matter and put their foot down on the heads of the people trying to kill Terri when they have the power to do so. I'm just not understanding it at all. The evidence is so blatant of crimes and corruption going on in this whole case that it is almost impossible to understand why he is playing into this whole charade. If the courts says that Terri is to be murdered then by God Jeb is just going to abide by that just like Michael if he loses will go ahead and abide by that and still take care (read: kill) Terri. This sickens me beyond anything I can relay in words. There is a saying about good men and their time, that it is now for them to come, etc. well where the hell are they! I can't seem to get any government officials attention to put a stop to this madness and it sickens me beyond anything. It makes me wonder about the leaders of our country, our state, and the mass majority of powerful people who could do something, and even the normal everyday people just wrapped up in their own realities without a care for what wrongs are happening to others. I am screaming inside, trying to outwardly act to get others attention, but feel that the tide is against what is right, just and true. I don't believe in justice anymore, I don't believe in the political, judicial, and others sytems, they are all a big sham. If you ask me the people who have the power to do something in this case and aren't doing what it takes to stop it are as guilty of domestic terrorism as the perpetrators of the crime.

You nailed it !
Wait until greedy heirs view their inheritance as being wasted by keeping mom or dad alive, when that money could be better spent on a new car.
Euthanasia isn't far behind based on this disgusting ruling.

Did you start the petition? WE have no provision for recall of a senator in Fl. and if we want to make it work we need to provide details to folks who we are going to tell about the petition. This is what I have been working on, as it reads now I think the only persons who will sign will be those of us who have been following Terri's case and supporting her from the beginnning.

Yes, but ... anything else wouldn't make sense, would it ... the reality being what it is these days.
Have hope, pc93. There still exist good men and true. They're just not to be found among pols or in halls of "justice" these days, that's all.

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that despite the rulings of man, nothing has changed ... in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. If man deems himself qualified to usurp Your divine authority, he commits the sin of Satan, for he would be like God.
This day, O Lord, one judge has ruled against the life of this mother's child. We appeal to You, our Righteous Judge, to vindicate the life that we hold dear ... our beloved Terri. Halt the march of the merchants of death, for they have taken another step closer to the door of her prison. Let no one enter who would do her harm ... she is innocent. We continually call out to You, as did the woman before the unrighteous judge who would not grant her justice. Your Word teaches that she did not tire in coming before him, such was her desire for relief. Lest she weary him beyond measure, he granted her petition.
We continually seek Your providential care for Terri ... we continually seek Your comfort for her grieving parents and family ... we continually pray that the greatest wisdom will prevail with Terri's legal team ... we seek redress from our Righteous Judge ... save her, Merciful Father, and in saving her, save others who hereafter would be consigned to the whims of the merchants of death.
Look with mercy upon this mother's child, and save her, in the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...
