Each of those human beings who felt so hopeless that they had to jump to certain death are Americans. Innocent Americans. When I see the enemies whining about our treatment of prisoners, I cannot feel any sorrow for them when I see pictures like these. THIS is why the damned Enemies to America and Freedom have squelched these pictures. The b*stards.

I felt the same way until I heard that they actually were making a choice
between two very awful alternatives: be roasted/asphyxiated by the fire
or jump and know the end would arrive in about 11 seconds.
I was glad to hear this reasoning as I've know a couple of folks who seemed to
think this was an act of suicide...when the truth is that it was simply a decision
to choose how life would end.

(and not to be technical, but some of the jumpers very well could have been
foreign nationals working/visiting the WTC)

About the only reason I can pull up a bit of sympathy is that:
1. some of those subjected to the treatment may have been truly innocent and
not adjudicated in any way
2. AND they may have truly believe that the Americans were ready to kill/maim them,
thus, they probably did have actual psychological terror.

What I do find ironic is that these Iraqi bad-boys (and the wailing chorus around the
Islamic world) soiled their britches over hazing that would be considered sub-standard
for most college fraternaty initiations in the USA!

Well having lost a relative in Tower 2 it's heartbreaking to look at these pictures again, but necessary, to be reminded of what evil we're up against. These liberal scumbags in the media just don't get it. They get all worked up over some abuse, NOT torture of some Iraqi terrorist prisoners. Makes me want to scream.

Brit Hume said it best today when the panel agreed it was not torture - he said Oh so it's better that we blow some Iraqi prisoners head off instead of dressing him up in women's underpants. (paraphrasing).

The whole thing has been blown way out of proportion.
