If she wants the VP nod, Kerry has to take her. She carries risks, however. The RAT base might be energized, but so will the right. It also might jeopardize her re-election in 2006 and, more importantly, her presidential run in 2008. When the ticket goes down, she could get blamed... unlikely, but possible.
I am beginning to worry that the pluses for PIAPS joining the ticket outweigh the negatives. BJ could stir up a lot of problems for Bush this fall if she is on the ticket. Problem is, if the ticket wins, she's stuck in a miserable job for eight years. I guess Lurch could die in office, though.
