Why not? Change the tires, drain and flush the fuel system, clean out the birds nests and you're good to go after a good preflight check. Hey, Donald Trump rides around in a 20 year old helecopter. Now that is something I definately wouldn't do if I had a few billion dollars.

It isn't the age itself--there's thousands of old airplanes flying around today safely. It's the fact that they've been sitting unflown for so long. I expect that before those planes go anywhere, they'll have to be torn down completely, have structural components inspected for corrosion, have instruments and systems replaced, etc. It wouldn't surprise me if they end up all but rebuilding them before they're good to go.
