I wonder when al-GoreZeera TV will have a crew over there. Probably by Friday.

Ok, so how did all these peasants get these slick, blown up photos to wave around? Someone is providing these posters, and someone organized this thing.

And they were handed out to those specifically illiterate: the young macho killer apprentices and the old woman...

What? You don't think that she went to the web and downloaded and printed those pictures herself?

Me? I think she's a web page developer consultant when she's not running her E-bay auction buisness from her own home.

Sign on right is upside down! LOL
These people had help.
The color pics of the prisoners are large format full color from digital, so you're talking organizers with internet and technology access, and money. These are not Westerners that made these signs though (we don't say "force peoples")- but they are people working inside Iraq to influence public opinion both in Iraq and in America. The press- newswires and TV networks etc, have become a dangerous influence on world events since what they show are usually out of context events or stuff that's magnified disproportionately. Everything is played to the camera, like this demonstration.

The grammar is awfully correct on those "Iraqi made" signs.

Really? "Democracy is not to force peoples to follow USA" doesn't seem very elegant. I think it's a real stretch to say these were printed by some Western source. Which is not to say that they aren't intended as progaganda.

yes, that sign wasn't too readable in the first picture that was posted and that I responded to. It later was posted in a more frontal shot and does show some incorrect grammar.

Still a made for TV moment IMO.

I wonder if the $27 million Kerry is spending this week on advertising includes printing, glueing, and distribution of "flyers"

The Ford Foundation has funneled something like $192 million to Muslim groups over the past 30 years. Some of these groups are visciously anti-American. A Jewish group is investigating the various ties between Ford and extremist Arab groups, although no links have yet been found that terrorists are directly benefitting from Ford money.

It looks, though, that these signs and this demonstration could be Ford Foundation money at work. Ford was involved at the UN race conference several years ago where Arabs were carrying swastikas, equating Jews to Nazis, etc. Powell and the US delegation walked out of the conference.

To say left wing western interests may be involved in this demonstration is not a conspiracy theory, but a real possibility that should be investigated.

I'm just as sick of the propaganda as you are and as he is.

My problem with him is the fact that he thinks the Iraqis couldn't possibly speak English or put together a coherent thought.

They were ignorant remarks.

But I still stand by my opinion about their right to protest.

I think the fact that the signs look SOOOO Professional might be the clue.....sure, they can protest, but WHO IS BEHIND IT! Sorry, I do not EVEN make signs that professional when I go out on the freeway to support our troops rally's.....and I don't see that many others either.

I don't CARE who is behind it. My comments to Brian_Baldwin pertain to his bigotry.

He clearly thinks the Iraqis are complete imbeciles.

I AGREE WITH EVERYONE ABOUT THE PROBABLE MEDIA COMPLICITY!!!!!!!!!!

I don't agree that they stupid people and regardless of the help they may have had, they still have the right to protest.

Once more. I agree with everyone about WHO may have created the signs.

Okay?
