This should have been posted hours ago, but my cable internet was down. Then, I had html problems.

When I consider this story and look at the group black & white photo, it occurs to me that Kerry's propensity in having "imaginary friends" has not been a recent development...it has followed him his entire life. It must feel strange for Kerry to see his traitorous a$$ in a photo of....... Real Heroes!

CSPAN Needs to Air the Swift Boat Veteran Press Conference!

Our own Interesting Times participated in the John O'Neill Swift Boat Veterans for Truth press conference today at the National Press Club. Interesting Times is the webmaster and driving force behind the Free Republic Network's sponsored website WinterSoldier.com and is heavily involved in collecting, collating and disseminating the information that the Swift Boat veteran's are discussing.
Interesting Times has just called me to say that the Press conference has gone extremely well. Dozens of news organizations were present as well as many Washington D.C. behind the scenes players. He reports that there is as yet no commitment from CSPAN to air the press conference in its entirety. He has asked me to run a thread asking freepers to contact CSPAN and politely ask them to air the press conference held today in its entirety.
"The quotes these guys give are damning. They are extremely credible. We must get this word out and not allow the mainstream media to report it in drips and drabs and heavily edited." Interesting Times said from his vantage point within the room at the National Press Club. [click here for the rest of that thread]

Thank You
I saw the C-Span2 Press Conference
It will repeat
These men stood up for what they believe in.
That Hanoi Kerry is unfit to be Commander in Chief.
I am both proud and honored to have served with them at the same time period.

Will there be transcripts available?

Post a note with "FR pics" that FR must be referenced in all usage. With thousands of citizen reporters, FR needs credit if one of the lame stream media lifts it.

Nice pictures of the press .. Do ya think they'll claim they were at the press conference and that's why the didn't report on this story?

Thanks for compiling all these related threads in one place. Kristinn took some great photos.
The Washington Times has a story and photo on page 4 related to this press conference. Veteran Joe Ponder is at the podium and the large photo with Kerry's picture circled is shown at an angle. The text of the story says that 12 of the 18 men in this photo have signed the letter that the group circulated. The letter says that Kerry "betrayed them in 1971 and to this day by saying he witnessed atrocities and war crimes during his time in combat." 200 swift boat veterans have signed the letter.
