And I suspect you're spot-on, again, FGS.
"One is able to "pick and choose" the version that best fits their agenda, audience, or advertisers. The WSJ and the LALA Times may run the same but different stories from the same source on the same subject. Could get confusing, eh?"
Y'know there could be another plausable explaination for such deviations -- besides the absense of the characher of the liars -- my friend.
What if the "Big Bug(s)" who're behind the Liberal-Socialist propaganda organ known as The Associated Press provide just the topics & slant to their AP "Staff Writer" quislings seeded across the nation at the various "member" rags?
Think about it, the instructions to the brainstem scribes might even include finite details such as what "hot words" are to be used & the overall the intended reaction being sought.
The quisling brainstem adds *local* flavor and is essentially, "playing the room."
~eh?
The Liberal-Socialist lamestream quisling's are capable of virtually anything since its a proven fact they have no depth to which they'd go.
...to promote their wicked Liberal-Socialist agenda.
There's not a doubt in my mind the "underlings" are subjected daily to messages from the AP muckity mucks; overt or otherwise(not unlike the networks I suspect). The types of stories that get released under the AP header will speak volumes to the astute, aspiring, upwardly mobile neophite journalist. How to "get ahead" in the organization is probably their primary goal and "proper" story development is the key to their success???
To help the upwardly mobile neophite, they have developed the AP STYLEBOOK(amongst others), which on the surface seems innocuous enough, but has the potential for being a template(good or bad) for the news. Of course we know that any AP "template" wouldn't exactly be a standard bearer for the conservative cause.
The Beat Goes On...
