UPI, Knight Ridder, CNSNews, National Review, Newsmax, World Net Daily have all run stories about the press conference.

Watching the press conference playing on C-SPAN 2 now, it reinforces the outrage I feel that the AP is spiking this story. Again, call in the morning. Be polite, but firm and passionate if that's how you feel.

He really put Colmes in his place.

The Associated Press has spiked reporting on the press conference this morning in Washington, D.C. by John O'Neill and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth where they accused fellow Vietnam veteran and Swift boat unit member Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), the presumed Democratic party nominee for president, of being "unfit to be commander in chief."

From what I've seen of this press conference .. I can see why they spiked it

KERRY IS TOAST

Since when do they get to determine what is and what is not news?

O'Neill said that they wrote a letter signed by EVERY SINGLE COMMANDING OFFICER over Kerry that he was unfit for the presidency.

He said the only one that didn't sign it was someone who died, and his son signed the letter.

This sort of upset Colmes.

However, she said the AP decided against running a news article about it because, "It does not further the anti-Kerry Vietnam veteran story any."

OUTRAGEOUS!
Doesn't further the Kerry Vietnam story!

IT KILLS IT BY SUNLIGHT!

Hundreds of vets signed the Swift Boat complaint against Kerry. HUNDREDS!

That AP will ignore this is one more example of the Old Media's death rattle.

The only good reason is if Kerry asked them to hold it off until tomorow when he will give them the exclusive of his stepping down. ;-)

P.S. - You do great first hand reports, keep up the good work(s), and, Thanks.

John Kerry was in Viet Nam? Why hasn't this come out before? ........O'Neill has been brilliant, and prepared for the attack.

I've got to wonder, the AP, CBS have yet to highlight who controls ANSWER yet they seem very concerned that "Republicans" are behind Swift Boat. GASP stop the presses!

Screw the AP. For the life of me I can't figure out why so many people get all bent out of shape when the AP, NYT, CNN, etc. show their true colors.

My only guess as to why Rush didn't cover this was because he hadn't seen it yet. I'm sure he'll be on it tommorow.

Dear AP Clymers;
You're getting scooped by alternate media. How does it feel?
