One of the defining moments of my life came when I was 10 years old. It was 1971, and my brother had been severly injured in Vietnam. MY dad, mom and I waited for him at the Buffalo Airport. As he came off the plane, on crutches, both arms covered in bandages, proudly wearing his Army dress uniform --some scumbag walked up to him and SPIT in his face!!! Today I am in my 22nd year of proudly serving in the United States Air Force, and every minute I serve is in memory of that day. When I see and hear John F-IN I see and hear that same Scumbag.

My Godson is in bootcamp right now and I wrote my first letter to him. In it I told him that I admire him for volunteering for the service when our country is at war and that it's because of people like him that the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth.

That goes for you and your brother as well. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service to our country.
