"Fallaci accuses the Church of helping the expansion of the "Islamic empire," lobbying for more Muslims to come to Europe. "

If Europe had listened to the Church and not swallowed 'the pill' and used abortion as the second line of defense against children, European socialism would not need Muslims imported to work their dole society.

The West wants to use greatest military of all times to defeat Islam who is without world class military capability. Not enough, Islam's WMD is Worldwide Migrating Demographics. The weapons they use are time, democracy, and children. Better thinkers than Fallaci are needed. I would suggest the Pope to lead this crusade as he did against Communism.

The mainstream Christian Churches - ALL of them, have missed the ball on Islam. And it isn't even restricted to Europe, where most churches have lost a significant impact.

Here in the U.S. where most people are active members of some Christian Churches, we have allowed our ministers and priests to mouth the same pacifistic, politically correct pablum about accepting Muslims into our midst as though they were merely just another ethnic group peacefully moving to the land of opportunity.

But you ARE right about birth control and abortion becoming a pplague on the west. The evil of abortion has come back to haunt the west - in spades.

No way does Europe "need" so many Muslims. 25% the number could fill in the gaps in the Euro workforce. Real reason Europe promotes Muslim immigration is a long term suck up to Arab oil exporters and multiculturalism gone wild.

Substitute "America" for "Europe", and it's still true. Yet you will find people on this very forum defending contraception, sterilisation, and abortion (and even buggery) as important "human rights", necessary for "true freedom". They are, in fact, the ABCS of cultural suicide, and their widespread practice is at the heart of the ongoing destruction of botn America and Europe. I would go so far as to say that to support ABCS is to be anti-American. I would further note that it is primarily the infamously anti-American democRat Party, and the infamously anti-American news media, that most vocally support ABCS.

They don't need them anyway.

Economists will tell you that there is no such thing as a labor shortage--only an unwillingness to pay people enough to get off the couch.
