The point is you can't have it both ways. Either your market is there or you can save money with cheap labor. Funny how you don't b!tch about your cheap Hondaus made clothes or Chinese made electronics or toys.
And neither can you. The foreign companies that manufacture in the U.S. put to lie the free-trader myth that companies cannot compete here because of OSHA, litigation, wages, etc.
I, being a conservative, agree that these problems need to be addressed. However, the major reason that we have an exodus of manufacturing and some service jobs is pure, unmitigated greed. Of course, this shouldn't surprise anyone who will take an honest look at this generation of CEO's. Following behind the baby-boomers is kind of like being behind the horses in a parade. Lots of crap for us to pick up....I just hope we don't get buried in it.
