Luken has never been the same since Norma Rashid gave him the clap.

I was telling someone the other day how we used to get from point A to point B in college (20 years ago) by driving through areas in the night that I would not go through in the daylight today. I can honestly say I would feel safer if you dropped me in the middle of Detroit (and I have been lost there before).

If a white guy gets robbed and beaten in Cincinnati, Ken Lawson will sue the white victim for spattering his blood on his attackers.

You know it.

BTW, whatever happened to "E-Norma"? Last I heard she had that bad heart condition, had her contract not-renewed by Channel 5 (and then sued), and had her drunk driving incident.

Not just to pick on Cincinnati, because I am sure every market is the same, but it is funny to see some of the local "celebrities" in public walk around as if their stuff doesn't stink. There are a few who are very down-to-earth but some I have run into act as if they are royalty. You just want to say "excuse me, but you are only a newsperson/DJ/whatever in Cincinnati, not nationally. Get a grip."

The only time I (and my money) cross 275 from the North into Hamilton county is to make my way to Newport on the Levee, on the other side of the river.

And the folks here in Northern Kentucky thank you for it!

Cincinnati's decline was predictable. I'm glad we've got some smart people here working to give people and businesses a place to relocate to.

I have never had the misfortune of crossing his path. I would pretty laugh in his face. He reminds me of Milhouse from The Simpsons.

I remember teasing a friend in college about Northern Kentucky (she lived there), about how the cultural highlight was the "ballet" in Newport. You know what they say about who laughs last........

Sorry to see the idiots are acting like idiots again. Sure makes me hanker for some chili though. Make mine a 4-way.

I've only lived here about 5 years, but it seems to me that N KY never even tried to compete with Cincinnati. I'm probably enjoying Cinci's troubles a little too much. I am SO sick of hearing anything about Cincinnati or Ohio.

We have local elections, local issues and local crime, but good luck hearing about very much of it on the news. It's "all Cincinnati, all the time!" I'm starting to sympathize with Canada and that is not good!

That's a good one. NKy has not tried to compete as they have blown right by Cincinnati in the past ten years. No contest at all. If I were starting a business here, I would look over the river first, second, and probably third (well, I would have to consider Mason-West Chester).

I keep telling everyone first chance I get to escape, I will be outta here in lightning fast mode.

Isn't George Clooney's dad running for office in Cinci? Democrat, I think.

He is actually running in Ky.

He is not much like his son. He is pretty well liked locally.

I am wanting to go a bit further northwest (Indy) but Dearborn County is next on the area growth chart. I wish I would have bought land there ten years ago.
