I hope there is not a repeat of the riot of a few years ago.

Couldn't begin to guess...

Now they're wanting to riot because of some fool committing suicide.
Real smart.

A good riot justifies any reason, to paraphrase nietzsche.
They'll riot from habit, from boredom, from greed, from arrogance, you name it.
whiff of grapeshot, anyone?

Those people would riot if one of them stubbed their toe on the steps of a local police precinct. When people decide that it's okay to get drunk, throw bottles, turn over cars, and set things on fire, live rounds have a way of curing that behavior real quick.

Then again, didn't the last riots start after a black biker died in a crash while trying to evade Police?
That might as well have been called a suicide, too,IIRC.

"Newsman said police were yelling at him and other press people!"
Oh well, that is certainly out of line. How dare some lowley copper yell at a presstitute! Freedom of the press, and all that rot.

Police Take Fire Following Traffic Stop LAST UPDATE: 5/4/2004 12:03:37 AM
Cincinnati police and firefighters came under fire Monday night in Winton Terrace. Officers pulled over a driver at the intersection of Winneste Ave. and Craft around 9:00 p.m. who then shot himself in the head.
The name of the driver was not released Monday night. He died at the scene.
People in the neighborhood reportedly grew angry hearing false rumors that the officers had shot the driver. Some attacked cars belonging to the media, even setting one on fire. Cincinnati Police Division Public Information Officer Lt. Kurt Byrd said officers never fired shots during the incident. Four to five rounds were fired at police, firefighters and medics, police said. Police searched for one suspect.
Police worked to secure the scene. Anyone with information about the person who fired at police, or vandalized the media's vehicles is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 352-3040.

Yep.I'm all for shoot on sight with rioters.
Hope no whites that don't know about this try driving through the wrong areas.
Or if they do,they're armed to the teeth and have the same attitude that I have.

That's how it usually goes in wonderful Cincinnati. Someone gets gunned down in broad daylight and no one knows a thing. Cars are set on fire and no one knows a thing. But what everyone does know is that the cops are the bag guys and the gang bangers are being oppressed by the man.

Just another continuing saga in the city of Luken and his socialist band of "appeaser's." Cincy has become a dump in the past decade, and shows no sign of getting any better.
The city "fathers" can't understand why Hamilton county is losing its population base nor why businesses are fleeing. Even the historical Maisonette his considering leaving. Cincy public schools recently admitted that it had to scale back its mega million dollar school capital improvement plan due to an eroding student population. It's not rocket science folks.
The only time I (and my money) cross 275 from the North into Hamilton county is to make my way to Newport on the Levee, on the other side of the river.

You can say THAT AGAIN!...Glad I don't reside there, I'm in a nearby county about thirty miles from the DUMP!

Yes indeed. Sometimes I wish that our politicians and LE "leadership" could muster the courage to lead a return to the way these things were handled about 100 or more years ago. But then again, I guess they didn't have to worry about ACLU vermin back then..... oh well, there goes that dream!

Even the roaches are leaving Over-The-Rine, Avondale, Winton Terrace, etc.

"Just another continuing saga in the city of Luken and his socialist band of "appeaser's."The first thing I saw on the news this morning was Luken and his dimbulb vice-mayor complaining that the feds are not giving them ebnough for homeland security. They were doing this to "intimidate" President Bush who is having a rally here this evening. I cannot get out of here fast enough.
