If it makes you feel better, the news today was of several incident where we basically killed a bunch of militants.
We shouldnt over-emphasize such body counts, but it gives me warm fuzzies when our soldiers beat the tar out of the bad guys.

I'm with you. One of the best underreported stories was a couple of weeks ago when the Marines were attacked, and they took out all 40+ attackers without losing a marine. (I know it was on FR a lot, but made only a mild blip on the news channels).
You are right about the body count business, but I liked it those ratios anyway!
