I found it interesting that when this first hit the news, the mother was saying "He's 200+ pounds and has CP, how could they let him on that ride?"....insinuating it was the fault of the park for letting him ride. Then, when it surfaced that per ADA, if a person can get themselves on the ride the park has to let them ride, and that his disability may have caused the accident if he misjudged his ability to hold himself in the ride, she changed tunes, stating "He had a season pass to the park, and he would leave his scooter in the parking lot and walk through the park"....now insinuating that it must have been mechanical failure of the harness not his disability, because he's not that disabled...Geesh. Wonder when the lawsuit will come out. Sounds like Mama wants some bucks.
