I think we need to do 2 things. One - out bid these bad guys paying for these attacks. Offer sizeable rewards for info - I would think we are doing that anyway but we can certainly offer more - double or triple for good info - $500 per terrorist - $1000 for a foreign terrorist - no questions asked, the informants identity protected - lets see - 10,000 bad guys x 500 = 5 million dollars. Chump change if you ask me.

Second. We need to create a special batalion of joint Iraqi/Coalition troops (with Arabic language skills and can concieveably pass for Iraqis). Their job would be to melt into the hottest urban areas and gather intel - watch and observe. Again, we may be doing that as well. I hope so.

This all comes down to intel not more troops. The only place more troops might help is along the borders.
