Friday afternoon, I caught Kopple on Hannity's radio show. He was doing damage control on the broadcast before it aired. Hannity asked if Ted could understand how/why some might view it as anti-war. Koppel said something which , to me, goes to the heart of the matter, ( even though it's pure BS that the broadcast isn't anti-wr) He said.."it is NOT our job to be pro-war, or anti war. We take NO position ont he war."
This is pure crap. Our country is at war. Our way of life, our civlization, our values are under attack by those who want to roll back the last 1000 years of human history and accomplishments, andthe media, i.e. Nightline, doesn't have a position on it.

I heard Koppel on Hannity as well. He was outraged that people were complaining about the broadcast who hadn't seen it.
Now that we've seen it, is it ok to complain?

What you say is true. But I could accept a certain stance of "objective neutrality" on the war issue, provided ABC were to go to as great a length to convey positive stories out of Iraq as they go to convey the negative stories.
