Voter#537 nailed it. I wish they waited until AFTER the nomination. If this is a real problem for Kerry, it gives the Dems a chance (and reason) to drop him and call upon the savior, Hildebeast.

Kerry has a majority of the delegates bound to him on the first ballot by the rules. They would have to have a really nasty floor fight and change the rules in mid-convention to release them. I hope they do.

The networks have been drooling over getting to cover a "Brokered Convention" for over 50 years. It doesn't matter who goes up or who goes down, they will not be able to resist covering every sordid detail live. It is the ultimate political story, even better than an impeachment, because it is time compressed into a couple of days of non stop sleaze.

After seeing the convention on the evening news for a week even Massachusetts won't vote for the eventual nominee.
