Maybe they should form one of those citizen's groups who advertise on TV. They obviously can be identified as a bi-partisan group of citizens.

If the DemoRATs choose John Edwards, we have the perfect campaign:

John Edwards -- the Democrats SECOND choice.

Dims don't care about the military

True, but the 'undecided' voters may find this interesting.

This is a huge story. As much as they might like to, I think the mainstream media will have a difficult time burying it.

On a similar note, in Pat Buchanan's column today he made a reference to Kerry meeting the Viet Cong in Paris in 1970, but didn't elaborate. This is something I hadn't heard of before-----does anyone know the background on that meeting?

Kerry has used his Vietnam Service successfully ever since 1971 to further his political ambitions. As a 27 year old, he was put in the national spotlight appearing on TV and in front of Congress. He has used it to gain elective office, against opponents who never served and were intimidated by Kerry's military record. They never challenged him on his military service viewing it as something of a third rail.

Ya think Teddy had a little something to do with F'n Flip-Flop Flipper getting his mug on TV and before the Senate?

My question is who knew what when?

Maybe hearing this news is why Kerry fell off his bicycle.

The orange and YELLOW bicycle? Did he tear his spandex pants?

Voter#537 nailed it. I wish they waited until AFTER the nomination. If this is a real problem for Kerry, it gives the Dems a chance (and reason) to drop him and call upon the savior, Hildebeast.

Kerry has a majority of the delegates bound to him on the first ballot by the rules. They would have to have a really nasty floor fight and change the rules in mid-convention to release them. I hope they do.

The networks have been drooling over getting to cover a "Brokered Convention" for over 50 years. It doesn't matter who goes up or who goes down, they will not be able to resist covering every sordid detail live. It is the ultimate political story, even better than an impeachment, because it is time compressed into a couple of days of non stop sleaze.

After seeing the convention on the evening news for a week even Massachusetts won't vote for the eventual nominee.

His quotes in the Boston Globe about not wanting to be involved in teh war are pretty damning.

Time for the analysis:

We know that this started because McAuliff said Bush was AWOL. This started the script for the events that are about to play out.

We know the RATS are turning this into a Kerry served, Bush didn't battle.

We know Kerry flip flopped when he stood behind Clinton and said that serving as Commander in Chief didn't mean you had to serve in the military. This also would start the Rep script for the 19 of 23 military men saying Kerry is unfitt to serve.

We also know that Wesley Clark was the Clintons choice for the Dim nomination and he did in fact serve in the military. Military service is now in the minds of Americans. Seed planted.

We know as well that Clark is from the south and the RATS cannot win without taking a couple of states in the south.
In 2000 terms, Clarke takes Tennessee and the election is over.

So the thought:

Kerry is shilling for Clark by playing up the military angle. Kerry wants the Secretary of State position which keeps his chip in the game.

Kerry gets slammed and pulls out. Well planned by McAuliff.

Clark becomes the nominee and immediately puts Hillary on the ticket as VP. Payback time for selling your soul to the devil.

So let's say Bush wins:

Kerry goes back to Mass as a Senator.

Hillary is still in position for a presidential run in 08 and runs for Senate again in 06. New Yorkers will not care that she broke her promise about not running.

Clark is irrelevant. He will go to a liberal university and lecture on failed US foreign policy.

And if Clark Wins:

Within 6 months of his win, the NYT and the Washington post start writing stories about Clarks failed Iraq policy.

Within a month after that, Clark decides that his illness is too severe for him to continue to be President.

Hillary becomes President and her VP is John Kerry.

Now everyone can gag.

True. But, he has enough votes to win.

They can't change who they are committed to.

Kerry will be the nominee.
