Gaza Palestine Satellite TV Channel in Arabic, official television station of the Palestinian Authority, carries at 0950 GMT on 30c April 2004 a live sermon from Shaykh Zayid Al Nuhayyan mosque in Gaza.

Shaykh Ibrahim Mudayris delivers the sermon that he devotes to the prophet's birthday. But, he also alludes to the predicament of the Palestinians and blames Arabs and Muslims for not making a single move.

The imam continues with the same theme in the second sermon. He praises the prophet and Islamic message, saying: "We are advocates of peace. We do not fight for the sake of fighting. But, fighting has been sanctioned if the aim is to restore rights to their rightful owners." He says: "We pledge to God and you, O prophet, that we will only be the subjects of God. We will not be slaves for the United States or Zionism, but the subjects of God. We will struggle and fight no matter how much this takes from our property and blood."

The imam concludes with a prayer for liberation, pardon, and mercy. He prays: "O God, support our kinfolk in Iraq. O God, direct the shots of the mujahidin for your sake. O God, shake the land under the pillars of the United States and its allies."

As a Christian we are tought true freedom comes from forgiveness, one must let go of anger and hatred to have peace. It comes only from within. Sounds like they will never learn this.
