Wouldn't it be funny (not ha-ha) if the result of this were to scare the Iraqis into thinking that we will do them just as badly as Saddam did them when he imprisoned them.
I don't remember any widespread insurgencies when Saddam ruled. Is it because of the stories of the torture chambers. I think so.
I think they are all either faked or staged to send a message to the Iraqis. No proof, just a sneaky suspicion.
That old saying comes to mind..."believe only half of what you see...etc."

Besides -- are a lot of the Iraqi citizens who were being victimized by Saddam's army really going to shed a whole lot of tears over them being humiliated?
