That's a good question!
Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer.
My suspicion is that the download of this 3rd party packet would have a negative influence on any future update one would want to persue via the OEM.
The OEM isn't going to do anymore updates except for security critical issues. MS has basically washed it's hands of the OS at this point.
