I think you can accomplish the same thing by using Windows Update. But without a fast connection it would take you a long time, since there have been so many updates since 98SE was released.

If this is correct, you still would need to update Internet Explorer, Media Player, and probably a bunch of other stuff.

With all of THAT code, it would be fairly easy to slip in a little something extra which might compromise a system's security.

Of course, this guy is fairly easy to track down.
