The major difference between Koppel and Cronkite is that Koppel is irrelevant by comparison. Now that the left no longer has monopoly on the dissemination of news, it has to resort to stunts and outrageousness. And it will continue to get worse to the point that the mainstream media is no longer such, and will reduce to concentrated shrill, impotent drivel.
