Curves franchises have surpassed Starbucks in numbers in the United States
The only way that I can see that as being halfway true is if all of the Curves stores are franchises and only 10% of the Starbucks ones are.

This is a particularly charming little line:
"I hate the idea that this right-wing fundamentalist is making a profit on these places that make it easy for women to exercise. I don't see how, in good conscience, someone like me, a staunch feminist and progressive, can in any way contribute to any organization that undermines women's rights."
Well, I'd bet that the folks at 'Curves' will go weeping at her misfortune all the way to the bank. With the hundreds of businesses that have been dragooned into contributing to Leftist pro-abortion organizations (Planned Parenthood) it seems to me that Pro-Life people and the majority of Americans ought to be able to choose whether or not they wish to promote the knife murder of infants each time they, say, buy an ice-cream cone or buy a sweater.
If Annie Lamott can fit her bulk through the doors of most any swine barn, I'm sure she'll find all the company and special dietary needs she could ever wish for in the company of others that have no Right-Wing connections whatsoever.

Most of these so called "feminist" are fat dykes. There is nothing feminine about them.

I go to a Curves gym, it's a fun, easy way to get in some exercise. I fit the "middle aged" demographic, plus I have some physical limitations that made the regular gyms with Nautilus machines etc. just too physically taxing.
They're literature definitely lets you know the founder takes a stand for his faith.
We do have more Curves gyms in our city than Starbucks franchises.
Each franchise can operate

Sorry didn't finish the post.
As I was saying, (LOL)
Each franchise can operate only in a certain sector or area. They are not allowed to market outside their area.

It is so evident everytime these radical fems open their mouths that they have no interest in choice. What is it on them if Mr. Heavin is pro-life and contributes to those causes, certainly they personally can choose not to patronage his workout centers, but to line up an attack against him for being as true to his (admirable) values as hey are to their (sinister) ones?

DO NOT insult pigs like that. You get far more useful things and much less crap from a pig. ;)

Annie Lamott, a feminist writer, said of the Curves franchises, "I hate the idea that this right-wing fundamentalist is making a profit on these places that make it easy for women to exercise. I don't see how, in good conscience, someone like me, a staunch feminist and progressive, can in any way contribute to any organization that undermines women's rights." I'd be willing to be that this writer, Annie Lamott, is desperately in need of the services of a health club. Jealosy raises its (her?) ugly head!
