The media needs to call an "intervention" on itself. Gather them all together in one big confab and tell them:

1) Terrorist thugs know they have no hope of ever defeating the West TACTICALLY. They'll never enjoy a military victory.

2) Terrorist thugs plant to win STRATEGICALLY. They're counting on the media to focus like a laser beam on casualties and setbacks, undermining public resolve. And they count on the media to treat a roadside bomb the same as a tactical victory.

The media has played right into their hands. ANd they need to stop!

You are wrong. The media needs to be STOPPED. However, apparently almost no one has the will to organize and get the job done. We've all become cowards.
