My favorites today are Smarty Jones and Pollard's Vision. I'm a sentimental sap!

Hopefully, some one will take up the sword for us!

Did someone say pics?
To: annyokie
I couldn't get the url posted right in my opening thread - no way could I load an image (well I guess I could eventually but the race would be over by that time and everyone would be in bed).

Yeah... The visual beauty of horses is 90% of the attraction imho. : )
I'm sure others will post some in this thread too, but til then, Threat Matrix posted lots of pics on the
pre-race thread.

The goatee aint fooling anyone Hopper..

I like Pollard's Vision (sentimental) too.
It just started raining there and Pollard's Vision does well on a muddy track.

OK, the hats and clothes are fun to see too, lol.
But, for some reason, there is no sight more beautiful or touching to me than a running horse.

I don't want to know who's riding this horse.

Travis Tritt and Kid Rock with son.
To: Trinity_Tx
Amen to that - and, I might add, the most wonderful high in the world is riding atop a galloping horse!

Little bit, I cant figure how how they dry the track, if it is dry down below Lionheart may not be the favorite.
They have a way of drying the track that makes the top wet, but the bottom dry.
But if there is a torrential downpour all bets are off..
To: threat matrix
Is Lionheart's father a mudder? (Sorry, I've waited all day to use that dumb joke.)
