My father was self employed as am I and he worked a lot nearly every day as do I. My mom was a housewife as is my wife.
I would venture when my dad was under 35 and I was wee that he worked about 20% more than I did at that age.
I have always worked and always will till I'm dead or too feeble.
There is always a project in my mind that I want to start up....it's in my genes.

Psst, Mr. Greenspan, can you give me any hints as to where I should place my finances? ; )
If President Bush get elected you can go hog wild with your money.
If Kerry gets elected, run like hell, with all your money.
How did you KNOW??? Mr. Greenspan

You should have taken, or paid better attention to, the grammar class.
No, I don't work as hard as my parents. I grew up on a dairy farm. My dad worked 7 days a week, as well as us kids. My Mom raised eight boys and a girl and was a volunteer teacher at the Parish school we went to.
Which reminds me of a good story. My Mom taught the third grade kids phonics. They all came out of there with a slight German accent and rolled their "R's". Drove the Nuns nuts, but they were afraid to ask my Mom to quit.

Follow up with that by the following: do you define your life by the things that you own/borrow from the bank?Definition of a bank:
A safe location for one's "hard earned" finances to be used by the bank to promote investment by them and at the same time giving return for the opportunity to use such finances.
I don't see an issue with this scenario.
The definition of my life however is an issue to be discussed between myself and my creator!
Nobody else.

You can't honestly expect me to believe that you are that naive? Sarcastically speaking...YES!
Unless perceived naivety can make one comfortable with their role in life, relaxed because of their religious beliefs, comfortable with their political standing, and free from dependency from intrusion from outside forces because of hard work and determination to free ones self from such dependency financially and to promote my personal contentment because of personal lack of attitude.
I guess I'm just naive!

My dad worked all day, almost evry day, until he died.
I'm fifty, and I haven't really worked in fourteen years.
